It dawned on me as I was eating breakfast this morning that we need food to survive. There are so many varieties of food that we have to choose from; we can choose the good or the bad.
It was the Lord’s intention that we live a healthy life with what he created from the earth, the sea, and the land. Processed foods were definitely not in the plan. Of course, I am guilty of going to a fast food restaurant and picking up something quick without thinking of the consequences. Organic or farm-raised foods are the best way to give your body the nutrients it needs.
Although I struggle with this fact, I have realized that food is not everything that God is. His word states, “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God”. Matthew 4:4.
